How Long Does Concrete Leveling Last?

How Long Does Concrete Leveling Last

If you have sinking concrete, you may be wondering if you pay to have it leveled, how long will that last? Today at Liftech University we answer just that.

Concrete Leveling is typically much cheaper than concrete replacement, so you might be wary if it’s a permanent fix or if you are going to just end up paying for it to be leveled all the time. There are a few major factors in determining how long concrete leveling will last.

First off, the biggest factor. Polyurethane concrete leveling vs Mudjacking. Poly replaces the void underneath the concrete with a foam that is actually more durable than normal soil. While mudjacking replaces the soil with just that, a mud slurry. So by choosing foam, you are going to get a longer-lasting repair, and usually a better warranty at that.

The second factor is your soil conditions, depending on where you are, it can influence how long a repair lasts. Unfortunately, this is outside your control.

The third major factor is existing drainage. Make sure you extend those downspouts and don’t let water pool around concrete, and this can increase the rate it settles.

So long story short, if you’re asking how long concrete leveling lasts, the answer is it depends. However, to give you a good barometer Liftech offers a 2-year warranty on exterior repairs, and 5 in on interior repairs. And over 95% of our customers never need a warranty at all.
