Comprehensive Waterproofing: Encapsulation & Vapor Barrier

Shepherd Of The Valley Church Prepares To Expand

If you haven’t been to the Shepherd Of The Valley Church yet, it’s a cool experience & big part of the local Westminster community. Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church offers a state licensed, whole child centered program of Early Childhood Education for children ages 3-5.

SVLC is expanding the interior of their building around ~1,000 square feet.  Next, they’ll be installing the structural wood flooring installed above this crawlspace.  SLVC was approved of this project by a structural engineer and the local city of Westminster.  Liftech has great relationships with local structural engineers and will make the process of compliance easy for customers.

Why Experienced Technicians Matter

Encapsulation has many benefits, but can’t by itself stop ground water from intruding beneath it.

If you look at the perimeter of the exposed ground, you can see the drain following the perimeter beneath installed pea-rock.  The drain is connected to a sump pump in the corner that will expel any water intrusion under the soon-to-be-installed encapsulation barrier.  This comprehensive waterproofing solution will give a complete peace of mind for SVLC in their building expansion.

Highest Rated Waterproofing Services

Our vapor barriers are made from durable, high-density polyethylene material that resists tears, punctures, and moisture. They are also treated with an antimicrobial agent to help prevent the growth of mold and mildew.  We typically install a thick 45 mil barrier liner, but we installed the extreme durability of 90 mil for SVLC.  Liftech professionals can install the vapor barrier quickly and efficiently, ensuring that your crawl space is well-protected.  The work you see is 1 day of work.
