Helical piers, also referred to as piles or screwpiles, are deep foundation steel pins used to secure new or repair existing foundations. Their corkscrew design makes them easy to install which makes them an excellent repair solution for a failing foundations and offers an alternative for new structures whenever soil conditions prevent standard foundation methods. Helical Piers thread into the ground which eliminate large excavations and minimizes soils disturbance, which in turn minimizes installation time. Once the piers are installed the structure can be raised back into it original position while transferring the weight of the structure to the base of the piers bearing and into the heavier stratus below.  Already know you need piers?  Contact us for a free estimate!

Helical piers can be used in residential and commercial applications. When structures are built on unstable soils or the foundation has been exposed to excessive moisture over a long period of time structural or foundation damage can occur. Helical piers are used to raise and stabilize foundations to their origin ensuring the structures value and integrity. Some signs that you may be experiencing structural failure are:

  • Windows and doors are sticking or difficult to operate
  • Interior cracks in drywall or plaster
  • Nails popping through in walls and ceilings
  • Sloping or uneven floors
  • Chimney is tilting or leaning
  • Cracks in the exterior brick
