Double Elimination

Cornhole Tournament

Going down as a GOAT comeback story, Austin Bell & Julian Janik redefined impossible into: in possible.  With high expectations for themselves, they were defeated early in the 2nd round by the incredible talents Austin Parr & Johnny Freddolino.  Austin Parr absolutely destroyed Julian on his own home board advantage.

Spirits were low for Julian & Austin B.

Austin Bell was visibly upset with his partner’s underperformance.  Enterting the loser’s bracket too early for comfort, it would take 4 wins in a row just to reach the finals.  And even then, they would have to win the Championship round twice.

No easy task, for sure.

But Julian & Austin reached deep to find ways to win.  And like every great story, they would have to defeat friends, bosses & eventually the team who handed them their first loss.  Eventually reaching the power duo of Paker NesSmith and Anthony “Neach” Arneach in the finals.

With the posture of a jumbo shrimp, Julian was noticably stressed in the championship games.  He would almost blow their chances AGAIN by going over 21 in the first champshionship game.

But Austin Bell remained consistently great.  They would defeat Neach and Parker twice for the championship, forever solidifying their legacies as Cornhole Champions.
